Do you think anything needs to be added to the Haven? A new area? Something updated or changed? Looking for new ideas! :D
Let us know what your wanting, what you think might be good to add.

I would love to see a "proposed matings" section, where we could post possible pairings, our reasons for the match, and hear feedback on good and bad points to the pairing if we wanted!

I like that Marcia - Then we could extend it to include the puppies produced from those matings

Sounds like a great idea. Just so everyone is understanding, we don't want folks feeling like they will be critisized if they post but don't explain their reasons to pair their babies. It would be a very good learning topic.

Any more suggestions?

All these views and no comments? Bummer! I thought at least some of you would like to see a more fun and exciting place. It's time for a makeover! I've been on vacation for to long... :D...

Call me a pessimist, but I can't envision too many 'warm & fuzzy' conversations as the result of this ....

I think this forum already offers a great variety! I am a pet owner with dreams of breeding down the road. I find the Haven already offers a good balance of learning and fun. I find I turn to the Haven as I seek to learn about responsible breeding ... and also to seek advice regarding the nutrition, health, and training of my pet dachshunds. (Oh ... and I come here for my puppy fix ... LOVE those puppy pictures!!)

I enjoy the 'getting to know you' threads where we share photos/fun facts - would love to see more of that. The polls are interesting, could we do more of those? The photo contests are lots of fun. Could we expand on that somehow? Just a couple of ideas ...

Debbie

I was thinking the same thing about the photo contest so made a new post http://www.thedachshundhaven.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=22332
Feel free to start a poll if you have something in mind! We all enjoy those :D
And if someone has an idea on a photo contest (not for the calendar but for fun) Start one! 8)
I agree, the Haven already has so much to offer, it's hard to come up with new ideas to add.
